1. (a) Review the challenges that platforms often encounter covered in the lecture.
(b) Examine the challenges that TradeMe may face and discuss what factors may help TradeMe tackle these challenges.
2. The gig economy is gaining momentum, and more and more people venture into the labour market, providing on-demand freelance work. In 2021, First Unions issued the first report on gig work

interactions with gig workers, discuss (i) what benefits gig workers can enjoy from engaging in independent work and (ii) what stresses they face.
