Assignment 5: Portfolio
You will use your skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to create an online portfolio that can be viewed online. If you do not have a portfolio, I recommend doing the best you can on this one since this can be used to send to hiring managers if you plan to apply for jobs/internships.
We will be going over this assignment one step at a time. Make sure to be on top of this assignment or it will be difficult to catch up!
Research/Sketches/Layout
You will gather your portfolio pieces from wherever you wish. It can be from this class or somewhere else. I suggest to gather work that is related to what you wish to do as a career.
I recommend for you to have around 6-9 portfolio pieces. You do not want to have too many or too little work. This is a good balance to have.
Start with some sketches on the layout of your portfolio. I will suggest to map out what page will go where and what button will lead you to that page. Research a variety of websites that you like and see what they did.
You will only have 1 sketch, but take your time with this one. You will make sure it looks the best you can. You will make it 1920 by 1080 pixels.
After your sketch, create your layout in InDesign. You are able to create any assets in the other programs and transfer them to InDesign. Make all the pages you wish to create.
Layout Part 2
After creating the first layout, we will be working with Object States, Buttons, and Animation to bring this portfolio to life.
You will make sure that this portfolio is easy to navigate anywhere. Have a button that directs the viewer to where you wish to go.

This will be saved as a PDF with a link that has access to your portfolio (Publish Online.)
