One Essay (20%) [individual]
Instruction: Write an essay of minimum 1000 words [excluding the end-text references] on ONE of the following topics.
a) Translating technical jargon from your language to English
b) Translating metaphor from your language to English
c) Translating humour from English to your language
Provide at least THREE examples for the problems, and state the strategies you use to solve the three problems with justifications. Use appropriate and adequate in-text and end-text references (around 10) from reliable publishers (such as WoS-indexed and Scopus-indexed journals) to back up your claims.

If the lecturer feels doubtful on the originality of the work produced (plagiarism, asking others to do it, etc.), students will be called and if necessary, will be penalized accordingly.
