Task:

This assessment requires a short report on the application of

Industry 4.0 technologies in operations and supply chain

management across any setting (manufacturing, services, private, or public sector).

You should select one organisation that uses at least one Industry 4.0 technology and use it as a case study for your analysis. The

report should include:

   A brief overview of the chosen organisation and the context for its use of Industry 4.0 technology.

•    Details of the technology implemented and its impact on the organisation’s operations and supply chain.

   Any ethical considerations arising from the technology’s use.

Where relevant, support your analysis with relevant academic

literature and non-academic sources, clearly cited and referenced, to strengthen your arguments and provide evidence for

conclusions and recommendations.

Word Limit:

350 words

Stick to the word limit given above. Unless state otherwise, it includes everything except the main title, reference list,

bibliography, and appendices. Do not hide words in graphs or diagrams.

Write the accurate word count on the cover page. Misleading word counts can be considered academic malpractice. Please see the Code of Practice on Assessment (CoPA)for further details.

Submit your assignment electronically on Blackboard MINERVA by 14:00 (2pm) UK time on the deadline date. Emailed copies are not accepted.

   Analyse the application of Industry 4.0 technologies within a real organisation and their impact on operations and

supply chain performance.

   Synthesise evidence from academic and non-academic sources to support analysis, conclusions, and

recommendations.

•    Communicate findings clearly and coherently in a professional, structured report.
