Spring 2019 Final Project
In class, we have focused on high dimensional parametric problems. In the literature, nonparametric regression has also been studied under high dimensional settings. Examples include high dimensional screening assuming nonparametric marginal models, high dimensional joint modeling and variable selection, and others.
The Princeton colon cancer study was used in class as an example. The data can be accessed at http://genomics-pubs.princeton.edu/oncology/affydata/index.html. Assume logistic regression with nonparametric covariate effects. Conduct first a nonparametric screening and then a nonparametric joint modeling. Submission requirement: a report with your analysis steps and results, source code.
