the internet allowed. You are also not allowed to use the Sudoku
solver Matlab added.
a) Devise a LP that will provide the solution to a Sudoku puzzle of
arbitrary size. Describe your variables, cost function, and
constraints carefully. (You are allowed to use integer constraints if
you want)
b) Create a Matlab script to solve your LP for a 4x4 Sudoku puzzle
(you may use linprog or intlinprog).
c) Test your script on the puzzle in the attached figure (source
http://www.sudokurepublic.com/4x4_puzzles.php )
d) Devise an approach to test if the solution to your puzzle is
unique. Describe the approach carefully.
e) Test the approach in part d) to prove the uniqueness of your
solution in part c.
